Do you advise in English?
Yes. Bouke advises international clients in English, from the first introduction to signing at the notary. Official documents from lenders and insurers are usually in Dutch, so we walk you through them line by line.
What does a first meeting cost?
Nothing. The introduction is free and without obligation. You also get an initial indication of the costs and possibilities.
Can I get a Dutch mortgage as an expat?
In many cases yes. With a permanent contract, and often with a temporary contract plus an employer's statement, a mortgage is possible. A BSN, a Dutch bank account and a valid residence status are the usual requirements. We know which lenders are comfortable with international profiles.
Why does Bouke ask for my current insurance policy?
Because your mortgage and your insurance are connected. By sending your current policy we can add a comparison quote to your mortgage advice, so you know you are not over-insured or paying twice.
Which lenders do you work with?
We are fully independent and work with more than 40 lenders, from the large banks to specialists such as MUNT, Argenta, Tulp, Lot and Vista.
Can I come by in the evening or on Saturday?
Yes. We are open on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00, and evenings and Saturdays are available by appointment.
